Craig F. Cohen, Esq.

Craig Cohen started his career in private practice representing clients in sports, entertainment, and fine art.  Craig then took an unconventional route, entering the mailroom at International Creative Management, quickly rising through the ranks and becoming a talent agent.  Craig spent eight years as an agent, ultimately joining Abrams Artists Agency in New York City where he helped propel and guide the careers of young talent such as Zach Braff and Kerry Washington. 

 

In 2004, Craig joined McCue Sussmane & Zapfel, PC; further developing the production, talent and literary sides of the practice.  Craig has served as production counsel to numerous feature films and television series.  Clients include Kevin Spacey’s Trigger Street Independent which has produced films such as Bernard and Doris starring Ralph Fiennes & Susan Sarandon and The Good Student starring Tim Daly & Hayden Panetierre.  Other notable clients include management and production company The Group Entertainment, award winning actor James Urbaniak (Thom Pain, Across the Universe, Fay Grim, Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles, The Starter Wife), multiple Emmy-winning casting director and current NBC Vice President of Casting Jennifer McNamara (Sex and the City, 30 Rock, Boys Don’t Cry), casting director Susan Shopmaker (Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Martha Marcy May Marlene), Liz Lewis Casting Partners,  Kassen Brothers Productions, writer Mark Hampton, writers/directors Paul Myers & Brennan Shroff and writer/actor/director Sean Gullette. 


Craig also represents the non-profit organization, Mythic Bridge, which is dedicated to giving a voice to underprivileged young filmmakers by providing them with access to entertainment industry mentors and technical production support.   In 2004, Craig produced the feature film, Southern Belles, starring Anna Faris (Lost In Translation, Scary Movies 1,2,3,4, House Bunny, The Dictator) and Justin Chambers (Grey’s Anatomy), which was released by Sundance Films and Hart-Sharp In 2010, Craig produced Beware The Gonzo, starring Ezra Miller, Zoe Kravitz, Jesse McCartney, Amy Sedaris and Campbell Scott which was released by Tribeca Films.  Craig subsequently Executive Produced Puncture, starring Chris Evans, which is currently being released by Millennium Entertainment in the U.S. and Voltage overseas.   Most recently, Craig produced the feature film, Lily Of The Feast, starring Paul Sorvino, Troy Garity, David Proval and Elizabeth Masucci, which is scheduled for release in 2015.
